Loose Basmati Rice – A Healthier Choice

Unlike common supermarket products, our rice is not packaged in boiling bags. Cooking loose rice is a healthier choice as cooking bags often contain the controversial substance Bisphenol A (BPA), which can release harmful chemicals into food when exposed to high temperatures.

In addition to health benefits, cooking loose rice enhances its flavor and nutritional value. Boiling rice in bags often results in nutrient loss as much of the goodness drains away with the cooking water.

Cooking Instructions

Rinse the rice beforehand, then cook it in lightly salted water at a ratio of 1 part rice to 1.5 parts water for about 20 minutes on low heat.
