The microgreen seeds are certified organic (EU Green Leaf label). Each seed pad is manually arranged on a hemp fiber substrate. The seed pack is for single use – once your microgreens are grown and harvested, you can dispose of the entire mat with roots into your BIO waste or compost bin.
Optionally, you can clean and dry the mat to reuse the base for experimenting with your own seeds in the sprouter.
Attention to detail is our driving force. The innovative sprouting method is designed to ensure consistently successful and abundant harvests. We’ve calculated the expected yield for each seed type – you can find detailed information in each microgreen variety description.
For now, we can share that one seed pad produces around 25–40 g of organic Heimgart microgreens. The sprouter can grow two seed pads simultaneously, yielding a total of 50–80 g of fresh organic greens.
The first leaves of a plant pack an incredible punch! Larger than sprouts, smaller than baby greens, they are bursting with vitamins, minerals, and plant-based phytonutrients.
Broccoli microgreens are particularly rich in vitamins B1, B2, B6, vitamin C, and folic acid. They also provide valuable minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, and iron.
